In the Saronic Islands near Athens, Agistri is just a stone’s throw from artsy Hydra but with a tiny fraction of the tourists and all the beauties of Greek island life. The main village is Megalohori, and a 20-minute walk away is Skala, where most of the hotels and tavernas are. Marvel at the village’s blue-domed church of Agioi Anargyroi and swim in its long, golden beaches with shallow waters. If you’re feeling more daring, the island is a popular place for outdoor sports like kayaking and sailing.
