Santorini is a magical destination, and if you love books, then one store in picture-perfect Oia may just distract you from that dramatic island sunset: Atlantis Books. Housed in a whitewashed building tucked beneath the streets and steps of Oia, its storefront is covered in intricate book displays, including the occasional “Rent a Cat” sign. Inside, uneven shelves are stuffed with an eclectic array of new and used books, from philosophical tomes to cookbooks to first editions of The Catcher in the Rye. The bookshop also hosts author readings, film festivals, and other events, both instore and up on their enchanting terrace. Now there’s a vacation well spent.
