AWESOME ALERT: Tomorrow (Saturday, April 27) is the first ever Little Bookstores Day in Greece!
Co-founded by LITTLE BOOKSTORES, a community of small, independent bookstores all over Greece, this day will feature workshops, readings, theatrical performances, and other happenings at small bookstores the country over. Entrance is free for all events!
In Athens, events include:
A bookmark-making workshop and bookswap at Little Tree Books & Coffee, a marathon reading of fairytales and a crime-solving game inspired by Greek detective fiction at Free Thinking Zone, and a meeting with and exhibit of the works of author and visual artist Alexandros Isari at Βιβλιοπωλείο Λεμόνι (Lemoni Bookstore).
Other participanting bookstores in Athens include 4 Books and more in Aigaleo, Βιβλιοπωλείο Γνώση in Ilisa, Το Λεξικοπωλείο – To Lexikopoleio in Pagrati, Little Book in Halandri, Sporos in Kifissia, and Fagottobooksin Exarheia.
